The CSIM Simulation Software for the Professional License is meant for
use within an organization. You can choose CSIM 19 for C and C++, or you
can select CSIM for Java. The software package consists of documentation
plus one binary copy of the library, header and example files for either Java
or both C and C++. The Software License Agreement is enclosed with the software
and covers one operating platform. Java is considered a single platform for the
purposes of this license.
The Professional License allows for
use on a single computer at any one
time (referred to as a seat) on a single
operating platform. If you want to use
CSIM on more than one type of platform
(such as Windows 95, Solaris or Java), then
you must license a seat for each platform.
A free Personal License for the same
user is also available for use on a
laptop or the licensee's home computer
(for PC environments only) when it is
not in use on the licensed platform.
A special request which includes user
and use information must be submitted.
Basic Support, which includes installation and bug-fix support by e-mail, is free for one year with license purchase. An Extended Support Agreement, which covers unlimited phone, fax, and email support, bug-fix updates, and feature enhancement upgrades at a 50% discount of published price, is also available. If purchased, licensee must purchase one Extended Support Agreement for each licensed seat at the site.
A Professional Run-Time License is also
available which permits the simulation
engine to be embedded into a compiled
version of the simulation model for
distribution within the organization
using at least one Professional Edition.
The license is not available for either
the Personal License or in models distributed
outside the organization. The license
is for each copy of a distributed application.
